i doubt that..

Dont think for a second that Sazerac doesn't use "shortages" as a marketing technique

The 2 places I went today were both out of Elmer T Lee. I picked up Old Grand dad 114, Smooth Ambler Old Scout, Willet family estate 4 year rye, and Rock Hill Farms.

I tried the 114 and its actually a great value pour. I really like it.

No doubt. But I can tell you that you won't find a bottle at Churchill's, Cuban, Martin's, Calandro's, right now.

that's still not that uncommon. i've gone in churchills many times and they haven't had Elmer. i dont doubt there is a "shortage" but there was also the same type of shortage at Makers that they said required them to cut the whiskey more or run out. well they still haven't run out...

Read today that they will be releasing a new bourbon called Stagg Jr. It'll be the George T Stagg juice aged for 8-9 years and will be ~135 proof. Suggested MSRP is $49.99

Those are Single Oak Project bottles. They released some more in May. I've never tried any of them. At $75 for 375ml it''s pretty pricey.

They're saying it will be limited release to an extent, but it would be at least a few batches per year so it won't be part of BTAC. Though I think they'll limit it anyway to keep demand up.

No Elmer anywhere in BR. I spent the better part of Saturday hitting every place I know in BR area and only found 2 bottles.

Y'all just stay away from Jackson Keep your shortages to yourselves.

Haul from today as an early preemptive strike against the shortages.

Shortages? I guess I missed that part. Never mind my previous comment, there aren't any good bourbons at the Fresh Market in NO...
