Opened a bottle of Angels Envy Rye last night. It's good but very sweet. Probably a drink I would only want a couple of in a sitting. I get tons of brown sugar and maple in this one.

Any of you had this out of Fort Worth? I bought a bottle because I've heard it was getting pretty good reviews. We just poured over one big ice cube, and it was very smooth and pretty tasty.
Also, my uncle had one of these up at his lakehouse, made it pretty easy to get the whiskey
, not sure I'd pay $125 for it, but was a conversation piece.

Hah! That pourer is pretty sweet. I wouldn't put anything expensive in there though

I have tried the TX stuff and it's pretty good I thought. I also like the bowmans from VA. Don't matter where it's from to me...if it's good it's good
And while that pourer is nice think if it leaked your good stuff overnight lol. Would be fun for a party tho...just load it up for the time and then brake it down after.

I enjoyed some EHTSB for the third time last night. I am convinced now that it is outstanding and probably my favorite so far. I like it even more than 4RSB.

Me either but I was just curious.
You can try small batch but its not as good as the single barrel. UJ can attest to that...we did some side by sides the other night and he really did not want to like the single barrel over the small batch becasue of the price. That didnt end well for him Dont get me wrong the small batch is good and great price...but a/b with the single barrel you can tell the difference.
