not sure if this is frowned upon, but here goes. The link is to a bar sale on craigslist out of Hammond, he has a very large selection of bourbon. Just thought you guys needed a look see ....

What's he asking for his bourbons? Retail prices? I'd drive to Hammond for half prices

he didn't break down half and full, told me to make an offer, haven't spoke with him again. I would make the trip for full bottles ...

Yeah, that's about the only thing that would make it worthwhile. None of them are that rare and you can pick most of them up at a decent liquor store.

That's the kind of crap that makes it so difficult to find the good bottles. These guys get connections and give kickbacks and crap to get the great bottles and turn around and sell them for 4x retail. I wish no one would pay those ridiculous prices and make them lower the price, but unfortunately, there are enough people who will pay to have the status symbols.

i hope its the real deal and not like A H Hirsch, and the Hirsch crap that is out now
