Is anyone over American Horror Story Asylum?

Last season was legitimately scary. I couldn't wait to see the next one.
This season just leaves me feeling terrible. It's not scary, just effed up. I'm going to finish it out, but I'm tempted to just read wiki summaries once the season is finished.

I started watching the show this season, and I like it, but I agree it is weird.
I started watching Season 1 on Amazon Prime the other day and I like it so much better.

season 1 was just so much better. This one just leaves you with this total shite feeling when it's done, not ooooh! that was scary, can't wait for next week.

I'm mainly sticking around to see how the doctor, satan nun and others get it in the end. If they ever do. Hopefully at least the doctor gets it.

I would never describe season 1 as scary. One thing I do wish about season 1 was that they explain the creature in the basement.

I liked it a lot more during the first season. My wife loves the show, and I think the possessed nun storyline is a hoot, but overall this season is just too sadistic and grim. To do a Christmas episode with a serial killer dressed as Santa, and all these references to rape -- too much, too much.

i'm enjoying season 2, and enjoyed the eff out of season 1 (i watched season one in about a week on netflix 2 weeks ago)

I've got 2 on the DVR right now I haven't gotten around to watching. I loved the first season but I've lost pretty much all interest in this one.

I am enjoying it. I think season 1 was very good. They tried to scare you and keep you guessing about what the hell was going on. This season isn't about scarring you as much as it is about shock value imo.
