I plan on buying an assembled upper. Would prefer not to have the fixed front sight on there.

I've got a few lowers that I need to buy uppers for so I can get them assembled but with Christmas coming up the $$$$$$ are tight right now.
I'm still waiting for DOA to get some calico lowers in so I can get a punisher, zombie, and calico all at the same time to finish out my spikes collection.
My FFL only charges me one transfer fee per shipment so if I can get them all from the same place then I pay one transfer fee.

My cousin has a Sig Sauer M400 with a case, 3 magazines and 3.5 boxes of ammo for $1,000. I know the gun is less than a year old because I remember when he got it. I'm not sure if it is .223 or 5.56 nor am I sure what brand magazines or scope is on it. Is this a decent deal? I'm seeing them online new with out the extras for ~$1250ish.

The Sig is a solid gun. Had mine about a year with zero problems using wide variety of ammo, including a little steel cased.

My understanding of that shotgun is that it is prone to dirt/sand/whatever in the magazine tubes due to the design.
