I finally finished my first build. I posted a few "mock up" pics a while back. But, it's done.
I've got the next few parts ordered for a mid-length build. Man this is addicting.

Registered as a pistol Im guessing? How is that not considered a stock?

It's completed in the pics.
Spikes lower receiver (they are inexpensive and they have what I would consider to be a "cool" roll mark)
Spikes lower parts kit..it's a pistol, so I didn't consider an upgrade as for as trigger is concerned. Plus how would I know how much better a lower pull or match trigger is if I didn't start with the standard stuff.
Rock River Arms upper parts (receiver, BCG, 10.5" barrel. Although I bought an RCA BCG, I decided to keep for my mid-length build)
Noveske KX3 Flash hider. Most people would probably say NOT to put it on because the fugger is so heavy. But, I couldn't get over how cool it looks.
I'm no expert. Like I said, this is my first build. So, take the info for what it's worth.

I didn't register it as either a rifle or a pistol. It was transferred as "other" through my FFL.
Basically, I can attach anything I want on top of the buffer tube as long as it isn't something that allows it to be shot off of the shoulder.

Gotcha. I've been considering doing a pistol build until I can get everything (NFA stuff) together for a SBR.
Seems like yours wouldn't be hard to shoulder fire with that on it.

I'm coming up on the 5 month mark for my SBR stamp, starting to get antsy as hell. Bout how much does that flaming pig weigh? I got the eliminator from alberta tactical strictly because I thought it looked cooler, but that sumbitch weighs about 2 pounds It's solid stainless steel.

This is a stupid good deal. LPK, buffer system and stock, and a fricking BCG all for 200 bucks.

Pig weighs in at about 7.5 ounces. It's heavy.
