I ALMOST went with the Aimpoint Micro on a Lareau mount but I just couldn't say no to the FDE option. I've always liked how Eotech's looked as well when compared to Aimpoint.
I've done a ton of research and in my opinion you can't go wrong with either.

Don't know if any of yall have dealt with gearsector.com, but they are legit. I had never heard of them before, but I ordered a noveske QD end plate from them lastnight and ol dude has emailed me like 3 times already, updating my order status with each one. Should arrive at my door in 2 days. Pretty exceptional customer service.

Vortex scopes are nice but their red dots cannot begin to compete with Aimpoint or Eotech.
