re: Official AR-15 thread

S&W M&P Sport. Says its brand new and has no mods.

Here's my issue:

I realize this is easily 400-600 above what it was worth just 6 months ago.

But I am beyond nervous that things may never go back to normal and ill be stuck with only the "long range" version AR I currently own...

Can't really decide if the peace of mind having the shorter, lighter style for my 2nd AR is worth that 400-600 or if that's just stupid.

Almost must note I will be putting on nicest rails I can find, a fore grip, some type of dot sight, probably will upgrade the grip, and may change the stock.

I have seen the 9" AAC uper with the KAC ($400 rails) on AIM go for about $1k. I have had to fight myself from buying it because that is a legit price. I have seen that appear atleast 2 times in the past month.

As it stands now I am only looking at the 8" noveske and AAC because they are the only ones that will reliably cycle subs and supers suppressed/unsusppressed. Others may do it but those are proven commodities.

Never thought to try that honestly.

Guy just texted me and said he has an offer for $1350.

I have never shipped anything, I always make it a point to meet face to face. I have only ever sold anything local, figured I could avoid the headache of waiting on checks and what not. Might lose a little bit of money but I doubled my money anyway so it really does not matter.

What's the deal with all these Aero stripped lowers on ARFCOM?

Are they worth a damn?

I got my lpk ($130) and am part of a group buy for stripped lowers ($148 shipped).
