Petrino sounded humbled...almost medicated.
Still a POS.
Said he received around 10 contacts of varying interest; deciding on Western Kentucky was a family decision; wife and kids liked living in Kentucky, daughter goes to school at Louisville; said he realizes that he made a mistake and accepts responsibility; said he let his players at Arkansas down.

His wife broke a 7 iron over his head.

Like I said he sounded like he was almost medicated.
I wonder if he is on antidepressants or if his wife had him chemically castrated.

Heard him as well & he did sound rather doped up or something. He made it sound like he had several choices to choose from, which, obviously, was not the case. Time will tell if he's really remorse but that itch to wander some men get in their crotch usually does not disappear.

10 contacts; 1 contract. That was the decision maker.

I know kids complicate things...but how in the hell can one person summon up the ability to stay with somebody who does something like that?

maybe she loves him that much.
maybe she has screwed around too.
maybe she needs to stay with him longer to take half.
ultimately its not the worst thing in the world b/c its not like he was beating her.

because she doesnt have to work...he is the meal ticket. She also has a golden ticket to frick around on him at any time and he cant say or do shite.
Why would she leave such a cushy life?

She couldve easily taken half of his shite and left. Maybe she thinks hes due for another big payout an is waiting on that

Bingo ! Now is not the time to divorce an unemployed..at the time...football coach who just lost millions in income. Best to wait till he does it again. Since one would hope a motorcycle is not going to be parked in his garage anytime soon, perhaps it will be a boat next time.

quote:At absolute best, and depending on the state then, she could get half of his current assets and some alimony. Not half of his (very significant) future earnings.
She couldve easily taken half of his shite and left.

Will he be the same coach now that he has been humbled?
Posted on 12/11/12 at 3:24 pm to GABlueDog
People do learn from their mistakes sometimes. Maybe he'll be one of them. Time will tell.

I hope the best for the guy but I doubt he learned his lesson. Still making almost a million dollars a year and i'm sure has quite a bit in the bank assuming he didn't invest with jls or give every whore he nailed 20k
