I kind of want the tradition of converting athletic tweeners into fullbacks to continue. It's fun seeing a big HB, a LB, and an undersized DT get moved to FB. I was hoping to see Travis Dickson converted to an H-Back if he doesn't lock down a TE spot.

One of the surest signs of a mental midget. yeah, it happened for a reason: the person made a decision. Nothing more.

Why are LSU fans acting like they don't love Fullbacks...Hester, Quinn, Copeland. Les loves them so much he's rotated them in games for 2 yrs straight.

too bad Les wasn't here when we had Tommy Banks, maybe more of our fans would love him.

Not worried about Swanson decommitting. Opens up a spot for someone else who really wants to be here

I'd be a little surprised to see him at UF. Heard the assistant jumped the gun with an offer and they don't want to press to get him into the class.

I'm not upset that we lost Swanson but I did like him being in the class. It took me a while to warm up because I'm not a fan of recruited scholarship FBs but the guy is the perfect fit for what we want from our FBs. Has that DT mindset to go with some athletic ability.

Grades are an issue and we'll see if he gets in. I wish him the best.

I also prefer converted FBs. Guys recruited for other positions that don't work out at that position or just show all the qualities of a good FB. I think Trey Granier could be a very good FB. Smaller than we're used to but he has that blue collar mindset to be good there.

It's not that all. First off Hester was not a true fullback. He played a little early on like Addai did his freshman year. This was mainly to use them in pass plays out the backfield. Quinn and Copeland were recruited at different positions. All the top five national fullbacks we bring in never work out. Allen, Worle, Theriot, and Shawn Jordan. That is why it's not a big loss.

Willing to bet his spot goes to Cethan Carter. I also think LSU might look more towards H-backs ingeneral considering they are usually overloaded with tailbacks who need the touches.
