Seriously. If true, I'm happy about this for two reasons. First, because I appreciate the hell out of what he's accomplished at LSU and I was sort of worried he was going to retire after this season and leave us in a situation hoping we'd make a solid hire. And secondly, just because it so clearly angers so many other LSU fans. Beautiful.

Highest winning percentage of any coach in the SEC over the last 3 years. In corporate terms, he would be rated a "star" with exceeds expectations. Do you think those guys don't deserve raises either? If not, you obviously don't have a job with strong career progression.

Whether or not Miles deserved a new deal isn't the only part of the equation. Les isn't such a good coach he can't be replaced but who is out there that Alleva thought he could get and do a adequate job of replacing miles.

Les milking money out of lsu after having his contract redone just a year ago is bullshite.
