LaTech to open 2013 football season @ NC State

Louisiana Tech will open the 2013 football season against North Carolina State in Raleigh, N.C., according to Wolfpack athletic director Debbie Yow.
Yow, who fired football coach Tom O’Brien over the weekend, met with the media on Sunday to discuss her coaching search and disclosed that the Bulldogs would be part of “a rebuilding process” for her new coach next fall.

No date was given for the game but the opening weekend is Aug. 29-31. Tech will play at Houston on Sept. 7 and at Kansas on Sept. 21. The Bulldogs will play Army in the Cotton Bowl on Sept. 28 in the inaugural Heart of Dallas Kickoff Classic.
