Beats LSU-Bama by 50%

It's also the highest rated regular season game on ESPN's family of networks since a matchup between #1 Ohio State and #2 Michigan, both undefeated, in November of 2006.

not surprised, it was an interesting game and the best game on that night. Plus it was to see if ND got to go to the show

Not surprising. National title implications. Two of the biggest programs in the country, both with huge national appeal. Night game with no real competition (the other marquee games were during the day, LSU-Bama went up against KSU-OSU and USC-Oregon). Pretty much the perfect storm for the networks.

I'm sure you had the entire Gator fanbase watching as well.

I would guess partly because you had the entire states of GA, AL, and FL watching.

GA and AL seeing if they will play ND and FL watching to see if ND would lose.

give it rest dude. the playoffs won;t be fixed, for all the bitching about Bama getting in last year based on name, the ratings were terrible compared to past NC games.

Seriously, you are complaining about the MNC and the playoff

Which is ironic considering this year's game was much much better than that shite. But yeah at the times those games were played last year's had much higher implications.

That's when people thought that game was going to mean something.
