If he was going to be traded today, what/who would you think we could receive? Be realistic, we're not about to get The GOAT& d-wade for a pansy like EG.

ETA assuming he was healthy..and as he is now (a broke duck)

I don't know if this has been linked before, but here is a really good/short article someone wrote on Gordon's trade value.. LINK /

Basically he is saying that Gordon doesn't have any real value right now. No team will trade for a guy with a huge contract and major injury issues. Gordon has to play to prove that is still a great player. Only then could we get any kind of value for him. But Houston and Phoenix are both out, so it doesn't leave a whole lot of suitors.

With the way his value is right now, no one. We'd be selling very very low.

I wouldn't want to move him right now as we would probably get 25 cents on the dollar. He has no value

People like to bitch about Gordon. But I can guarantee you, if we trade him people will bitch even more about what we get in return.

No team is going to trade anything of value for him, and the Hornets aren't just going to give him away. That's why the theory's of "oh he's not actually hurt they're just waiting for when they can trade him!" are insane.

Exactly. Minus the injuries Gordon has a high value around the league. Even with the injuries he was able to have 4 to 5 teams, supposedly, interested in him this summer. Now, however, he has no value whatsoever. Who would trade for a player that has played 9 games in the last year. No team is going to take that risk because although the reward could be high, he is a 14.5 million a year making, potential bench rider because of his injury proneness. The Hornets are stuck with him because there is no way I see him building up enough value before the trade deadline. Honestly we should all sit back and hope for the health of Gordon because he is/will-be a Hornet for the foreseeable future.

Yeah, because his contract is such a burden on you. How will you ever help Benson make payroll?

It's a burden on the franchise when you pay MAX money to a player who can't ever play
