Bad year for the bottom of the league to be so putrid

2 winless teams winless in the the league, plus 2 others whose only win is over one of the winless teams. That equals a lot of extra wins for teams that normally wouldn't be there.
That's why 10 wins got Arky a BCS bowl 2 years ago, and this year 10 wins is going to get somebody(probably us) Chik-fil-a.
Auburn and UT really need to get the programs back on track to rebalance the league.

I did just think of something..... Vanderbilt and Ole Miss are bowl eligible. One of them is going to the Independence Bowl and the other, I would guess, to the Gator. You still have to stick Moo State in a bowl game too.
Who knows. I'm tired of guessing. I'm just going to wait and see. We're the top ranked 2 loss team, that should matter. We'll see.

Neither qualify for the Indy. They were after the number 10 SEC. Guess they are taking Tech instead.

Vandy OM and State will be some combination of Indy, Music City and Liberty. No way a 10 win SC or 11 win Georgia gets by the Outback(Gator)

Oh ok. We'll we see where we land. No point is going nuts.

Yeah, just looked at the selection order. I kept thinking the Outback was the old Gator, forgot it was the Citrus. Gator, Liberty, Music City, and something called the BBVA Compass Bowl all pick before Indy. Looks like Compass and Indy have to find new teams this year.

It isn't. The Gator is in Jacksonville. The Cap. 1 is the Citrus Bowl, (the name of the stadium) in Orlando. I drove by it every day for 11 years.

The SEC was even worse last year. Auburn and Tennessee were bad last year as well, but Ole Miss and Florida were also really bad. South Carolina was dealing with the Steven Garcia chronicles, Georgia was a joke who fell backwards into the SEC championship and even Mississippi state was weaker.
The difference this ear is that most of those teams improved while Auburn and Tennessee stayed bad. Arkansas is the only team that really got demonstrably worse this year.
Which is a big part of the reason that last year was such a fluke season. The SEC was really bad outside of LSU and Alabama and a decent Arkansas team.
