Grew up with Delirious, Raw, and SNL.

I watched the tribute earlier this week. It was great.
Murphy was King of the 80's.
Eddie got him a white wife? Or just girlfriend?

"Your wife's a bigfoot Gus!" Saw it earlier in the week as well. Later at night. Only bleeped out the F word, nothing else. Old Eddie=great. New Eddie=not so much.

Why the frick was Russell Brand chilling with Eddie?
I like Eddie, but he didn't have shite on Richard Pryor

I`m watching it too. I forgot how good his stand up routines were. Best old school stand up comics IMO: Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Bill Cosby, Robin Williams

I really can't stand these tribute shows for black people where 99.9% of the audience is black people too. Are we celebrating Eddie Murphy or the fact that he's black? I'm cool with the first and could really care less about the second.

Pryor in his prime was a little before my time, I really only remember him from movies like The Toy and Brewster's millions. I have DVD's of Raw and Delirious and still will watch them sometimes.

Was 15 or so when Raw came out and that was the funniest thing I had ever seen. Just turned it on little bit ago. Still funny, but now years later with kids in the house I have to be a little discreet about it.

This pissed me off too. That dude is as garbage as they come... did you see how he sat next to Eddie and just pretended to be some ultra-badass and not laugh at anyone else's jokes? He was on there because Spike TV is where his show is at..
It actually ruined my mood because I kept having to see him sit next to him like they go back...
