I too wonder what would happen if WM were to hire a black principal or HC but I don't think I have to worry about that happening anytime soon. Heads would roll.

You neville clowns will never pass up a chance to take a cheap shot at WM. Not one WM fan in this thread said one negative thing about neville.
Then like the typical clowns you folks are, you start bashing WM.

Haters gonna hate. Deal with it clown, neville has been second fiddle to WM for well over 15 years and will continue to be for many decades to come. Its the new norm. Get used to it.

Sorry dude and WM fans. I thought I remembered him being a WM grad from past posts. My bad.

Because Neville isn't going to hire a black principal or head football coach any time in the near future and not because Vidrine and McCarty are relatively young.

That's exactly why. Besides that, there aren't any black coaches on staff or in the area that have the resume' to be HC at Neville at the moment.

I might be at the Neville game tomorrow night. You'd be amazed at what I know about Neville.

Good for you and no I wouldn't.

Translation: Rocket, you're right. If Rankins had a habit of getting crossways with influential white Neville supporters, etc., he'd had been gone a long time ago. But he doesn't, so people like him. BTW, I know Roosevelt Rankins. I know where lives(not far from Lamy), know what truck he used to drives or used to drive, know where his business is and know all about "get down tigers".

Supporters don't make personnel decisions. Plenty of white kids with rich parents have gotten suspended by Rankins. He's not the type that gets "crossways" with people. He cares about his kids but deals out a lot of tough love. People respect him for that. He'd have to kill somebody or get caught with an underage boy to get fired. If somebody came in and tried to get rid of him there would be thousands of calls and emails to the school board to have him reinstated, ie Jimmy Rogers.

WOW, you know sooo much about Rankins and Neville. My uncle is a major donor. My boss was Vidrine's college roommate and is heavily involved at the school despite not being an alum. Another friend has been Vidrine's neighbor for several years so I think I have a bit more insight into what goes on at the school than some random arse dude who periodically comes to games.

Kinda like Alabama hiring Mike Shula over Sly Croom.

Talk about terrible examples. Wtf does that have to do with the price of tea in China? Anyway, both of those guys sucked as head coaches.

Your opinion doesn't mean shite.

Neville ran from WM after Lane was broken in half. Then after losing back to back years McCarty ran again and refuses to play WM anymore. If one team is scared to play the other, yes they are second fiddle.

Insert random Evangel comment about WM and I'll agree with you.

The old money is alot of what has kept Neville from going the way Wossman went....and the fact that it has always had a white principal and white head football coach. Will be a big uproar is the demographics of those two positions change.

The North Monroe area that serves Neville have almost the same demographics and population of West Monroe, fwiw.

Again, there is not now, and never has been an agenda to hire a black head football coach among your uncle and those Neville faithful.

Why are you pulling the race card in a thread that had nothing to do with it? Why is the topic of Neville getting a HC relevant? He's been there for ever and will probably stay a while.

You just have an race based agenda being a douche these days. Its your MO.

Can the Neville-WM pissing contest go somewhere else? This thread is about North vs South. Anyway, another reason why the South is better even though the numbers on the north and the south are relatively even, the North has less competition between schools over getting an athlete. Take a kid from Orleans parish for example and he may have scholarship offers from Rummel, HC, Jes, BM, Newman, St. Martins, etc., and free tuition at any magnet school, any charter school, and his home public high school. The talent is so spread out.

Wait, what? This makes zero sense. None. The reason there are more schools "recruiting" a kid is there are more people. Hence, more schools. You've got twice as many people in Jefferson Parish -- a suburb -- as there are in greater Monroe. You should have enough players in New Orleans to produce 1/4 of the power house programs.

Instead, you had greater Monroe, which is about five percent of the state population, producing 60 percent of last year's state champions and they routinely dominate the state's highest classes.

South Louisiana people just need to stop with the nonsense. You're starting to sound like Big 10 fans arguing that they are better than the SEC while the SEC is busy collecting trophies.

The talent being spread out is pure fallacy.....population and per capita number off schools proves this........

And is a pathetic excuse....

Acadia parish has a lot more schools per capita than orleans parish...doesn't stop the pios
