More wins than Eddie Robinson, Joe Pa, Bear Bryant etc. 86 years old.

60 years at D-III St. John's, 27 Conference Titles & 4 national championships.
Players called him "John".
Every Senior was a team captain. According to Gagliardi, "They might not know who St. John's is, but being Captain of the team looks good on a resume".
No hitting allowed in practice & no formal strength program.
While he had an offensive coordinator, the QB called the plays.
Practice was optional.

I recommend Austin Murphy's book "The Sweet Season" for more on the guy. Murphy notes that in spite of the seemingly easy going nature of the program, Gagliardi could compete with Woody Hayes & Bo Schembechler when it came to chewing out a player.
