Miles is winning on talent alone.

Just like Auburn and Texas is doing.

I know you're joking, but I don't think we're too far from having some of the children of Dinardo's players here.

Or Trent Richardson's. So vicariously those would be Saban's players also.

OK

Three wins = 6 11-win seasons in 8 years.

But I guess that sucks too, right?

80%=80%

You're right about total wins perhaps being a bit less impressive given the 13 game season but the wp is spectacular.

I'm just not sure how/why this is a bad thing. Dinardo lost with talent. Lots of coaches have. Miles recruits like a mother...it's always been his MO and one of the primary reasons he was hired.

So as long as "miles is winning" who gives two shits about the reasons?

That is stupid because we actually are tied with Boise St. for longest active streak of 8 win seasons.

They just aren't given to you slackhouse, you have to earn wins.

3 more win for Bama will mean 3 NC in 4 years. We need to capitalize.

What? He's three victories away. One of them against lowly AU, so really he is two victories away. 120 minutes.

Meanwhile, LSU is at least one year away from its next title opportunity.

Are you projecting UGA to beat Bama?

Apparently half of Tiger Stadium doesn't care. See empty seats for evidence.

I realized this the other day. People are so quick to blame Miles (including myself at times) and get ticked off. But look at all the current coaches in the SEC and see how many coaches have had 6 ten win seasons in 8 years of coaching.

Miles is probably better than most of the coaches that have come and gone since he came to LSU. Certainly one of the best in many respects.
Still think he and LSU could/should have done better than 2 SEC titles in 8 years.
