Is that why Truitt Nix Teo etc were recruited by SEC schools? I just don't get why everyone thinks ND is slow this year? They are good.

Fyi most of ND's starters are from the south and the west.

It was never academic standards. Anyone who said that was a fool on this issue. STANFORD who has tougher standards and 1/20th of the tradition of ND has fielded a BCS contending team for the past 3-4 years. It was always about coaching, ND was getting the athletes. At the same time, ND's detractors also used it as a way to say ND would never be back. I don't know how many times Wiki said it in a thread this offseason.

I never said ND wasn't a good FB team. They are overrated, they are a BCS bowl, they are not a NC team. Do they deserve to get in? That's a whole other argument.
By saying ND is a NC team your saying no other team in the immediate top 10 could beat them...
I say they couldn't beat the top 5 teams in the SEC...therefore how can I crown them NC?

Not sure why this is so hard for people to grasp. Davie, Willingham and Weis were terrible hires. Willingham is the only one who had some success as a college head coach (sporadically at Stanford).
