Sabrina was/is Italian, she was a European MTV phenom, but I believe other BS of hers was aired, albeit sparingly, here. That video (boys, boys, boys) was/is legendary.

For some reason, I don't remember hearing this much back in the day, but it gets played a lot on First Wave and thrown in the one-hit wonder category (I know Paul Weller is big in the UK).

I don't remember Squeeze videos. The music was a staple though.

It may have been a staple but not in my world. It's not the kind of music tht was played at the Bayou or any place I hung out at on college

Not enough love for squeeze in here.

Is that love

Tempted

And Weird Al, he never gets enough credit for his original songs, and his parodies are awesome:

One more minute - one of my all time favorite songs and should be heard by everyone

Nature Trail to Hell - maybe my favorite Weird Al song, definitely one of his top 3 originals

I want a new duck

Polka on 45

ETA: If you have never seen UHF, go do it now. Michael Richards alone makes that entire movie worth watching. And it has a great soundtrack.

I cannot belive oi forgot about this one:

Generic Blues - BB King once called this song one of his favorite blues songs ever. If that isnt validation i dont know what is.

Non-dairy: Split Enz - Dirty Creature
Split Endz was a great band. I never got into Crowded House, like I did Split Endz. Loved their debut album here in the States, True Colours, wore that shite out in college.
