Tigernation has gone into total brain meltdown when there is a question whether OK for certain age to wear LSU jersey to a game!

I wear a jersey to games whenever I feel like it. But I don't have one with a name on the back. But if I had a relative playing, I might put his name on back to support him.

My last relative to play for LSU was in 1973.

My nephew plays also, I wear a shirt with his name and number on the back instead of a jersey

Joe Williams or Larry Wood? (I'm guessing.)

No. I try not to judge other people wearing them, but I'm in the "grown men shouldn't wear college jersey" camp.

frick this attitude, wear what you want to wear to show your fandom.

Neither. It's an Italian name.

Wear whatever the frick you want to wear. If anyone gives you shite, just laugh at them, because they are more insecure about themselves, that's why they choose to talk about what other men wear.

If I had a nephew that played, I'd prefer to wear a button with his name and # on it. Something more unique.

But, if I didn't have that then I'd wear his jersey. I generally am not a jersey guy, but if it involved my nephew then it wouldn't bother me.

I'd certainly want to have his jersey anyway.

Wear whatever you want to wear. Why do you care what other people think of your clothing? I have a jersey that I sometimes wear. It is my high school number.

We saw a bunch of clement's family were jerseys, and pins with his number on them at the last game we went to. I thought it was awesome!

That gravy train has left me behind, but those were excellent seats. Section 104 - roughly halfway up, is my best recollection - roughly equivalent to the old law school/Greek tickets - near where the band used to be.

(That's a relatively early sign that you're getting too old - you describe things in terms of where the landmarks used to be.)

ETA - in 1989 and 1990 - I sat on the row of seats in front of the Golden Girls (and for free, I might add). Those weren't seats about which to complain either - especially if you enjoy hearing our band play.

Dude asked a simple question: "would you wear it". I wouldn't, but that's my personal choice. You obviously don't share that opinion, which I respect. Dude should wear whatever he wants and not worry what 100,000 strangers think about it.
