OF Chris Sciambra ready to make a difference for LSU

Also, there is a Coaches Committee meeting tonight.

Mikie Mahtook is the guest speaker and Sanchez will discuss today's recruit signees. (Today is signing day for the next class.)

Saw that. Hope Chris gets to start next year. By the way, who will be the back up catcher? I thought it was a kid from Gulliver Prep, but the article mentioned another player from Boca. Maybe both are competing for Ross' backup?

It looks that way. Last year proved you can't have too many good catchers. Injuries happen.

Any good ones?

How did the pitcher from Rummel look in fall ball?

My first reaction is 'if they weren't any good, they would not be signing with LSU.'

I'll find out tonight and let the board know tomorrow if there's anything interesting.

Potential catchers: Ty Ross, Chris chinea, Evan Powell, and Tyler Moore. We'll be just fine at C

If he's healthy, I don't see how he won't start off as the starter.

Unless he has improved like Ross did last year, please don't subject us to that frustration again.

Good news. That injury was scary. We could have used him down the stretch last season.

Yes, we could have. Arby started well but went stone cold at the end of the season. Plus a fly ball in Arby's direction was an adventure....
