This is obviously AFTER all champions are slotted in their spot and all the Bowls get to replace their team headed to the BCSCG.

As it currently stands, KState and Oregon would play in the BCSCG. The Fiesta gets to replace KState with Oklahoma, and the Rose gets to replace Oregon. Since the Pac12 won't have another BCS-eligible team, the Rose will take Notre Dame to play the Big10 champion.

So then the Fiesta gets to pick between Clemson, LSU, Florida, Georgia, TexA&M. (assuming here of course that Bama beats Georgia and hence sends Bama to the Sugar).

If LSU is in the Top4, it doesn't matter...LSU is going to Fiesta or Rose, period. But if LSU is not in Top4, I think Fiesta takes LSU over a Florida team coming off a loss, a Georgia team coming off a loss, and an A&M team that LSU beat.

Why do you think Fiesta would take OU over ND???

Almost certainty that Fiesta will take ND.

Rose would choose between OU, LSU, and A&M. I like LSUs chances.

Problem.is, I think Oregon would jump KSU if they win out against a tough schedule.

So Rose would have first pick and take ND.

Fiesta would then choose between LSU, OU, and A&M. Two picks in a row and can set the matchup.

Whoever isn't picked out of LSU and A&M, plays UT in Cotton.

Fiesta would take a Big12 team to replace Kansas State. I think they are actually contractually-obligated to do so if another Big12 team is BCS-eligible.

If I'm wrong and they don't take a Big12 team, then you are probably correct and then the Rose scoops up LSU or Oklahoma after the Fiesta replaces KState with Notre Dame.

Good lord

How boring is that? Notre Dame ALWAYS plays Big Ten teams.

Because the Big 12 has its BCS tie-in with the Fiesta.

So what???
No way Fiesta takes a two loss OU over undefeated ND.

Why can't people understand this???

Fiesta is NOT bound to another Big 12 team if they lose their champ to title game.

It all hinges on 3 games for us:

Oregon has to play for the NC
Florida State has to beat Florida
Alabama has to beat UGA in the SECCG

But what if USC beats Notre Dame? Would the rose take a 3 loss USC? What other kind of shake up would that create?

this

I have a ND buddy that was talking about a LSU-ND Sugar Bowl last night. I gave him the "no so fast, my friend" line. If KState is #1 and Oregon is #2, undefeated ND goes to Tempe.
