BCS bowl or ChickFilA bowl for LSU

Might not be anything in between for LSU to be slotted into.
USC wins out they are lock for Outback.
Georgia loses to Bama -- Cap1
Cotton really wants A&M vs Texas.
That leaves LSU and Florida to fill a BCS at large and ChickFilA
If UF beats FSU unfortunately I think LSU gets the shaft and another shitty trip to Atlanta.

I think 5 at best. Bama wins out and I think if ND, Oregon or Kstate lose, they will still stay above LSU...maybe.

The Chick Fil A Bowl is not far fetched. If LSU got slotted there, it would be awful. It would be the 2nd time in the Les Mies era that a top 10 LSU would fall all the way there.

Oddly enough, the 2005 Peach Bowl was #10 LSU against #9 Miami.

Last time that happened was in 05... LSU beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa on OT and went on to lose to Georgia in the SECCG. The prize for winning the West? Alabama goes on to play in the Cotton Bowl, and LSU gets shipped to the Peach. Very underwhelming.

I disagree with LSU being #4 in 3 wks and heres why... oregon wont lose neither K State...they or 1-2.... Now assuming ND loses to USC SEC champ at 3 then u have the winner of the FSU/FLA game sitting at 4.....Remember FSU beats FLA and wins there CONF CHAMP game they definately will be in the top 4..Even worse if ND doesnt lose to USC now u have 3 undefeateds and 2 1 lost conference champs from the SEC/ACC....FLA/FSU will be ahead of LSU no matter which one wins at the end of the regular season...for LSU to be #4 they need FSU to beat FLA and FSU to lose in there CONF CHamp game, and remember ND has to lose for any of these scenarios to even be possible, LSU needs tons of help...its still a chance but a very very small chance.... im hoping for that chance

It's really a numbers game. Unfortunately, there's a really good chance that there will be 5 SEC teams with 10-2 records...UGA, Fla, LSU, USCe, and aTm. UGA will get the Cap One because the SEC doesn't like to see its runner up fall too far in bowl slotting. Outback never picks a west team. Cotton wants the aTm vs Texas matchup. So that leaves LSU and Florida for a possible BCS at-large and Chicken bowl.

Chcik Fil A Bowl is a good bowl. I'm bias because I live in ATL and have yet to see LSU for the first time in 10 years this season.
LSU vs. Clemson would be a good game!
I still think we find a way to get into the Sugar or Cotton Bowl. Chick Fil A would be a third choice!

I've heard noise that the Outback might take LSU if they fall there. The Cap One is a bit of a coin flip between LSU and UGA, and there's almost no chance we go to the Cotton.
There's a possibility we slip to the Peach Bowl, but odds are against it. If UF loses, LSU won't fall further than the Cap One (either UGA or LSU gets the 2nd SEC BCS slot, other team goes to Orlando). UF winning out really opens up that Peach Bowl possibility.

Unfortunately I see it this way as well. The only other scenario is LSU to the cotton if a&m gets the BCS slot. Right now I say:
National championship- Oregon v. K-State
Sugar- Bama v. Notre Dame
Fiesta- Oklahoma v. Clemson
Orange- Rutgers v. Florida State
Rose- Nebraska v. LSU
