Watch all of the games on TV next week and tell me how many other schools do this. It was flat-out embarrassing.

Don't criticize the fans for leaving early. Tiger Stadium is a hard place to get in and out of and Baton Rouge traffic is terrible. If the stadium were in the middle of nowhere with an adequate road network, people would be more inclined to stay until the end, but I don't think that anyone wants to lose the tradition and atmosphere of a Tiger Stadium on campus.

Tiger Stadium is one of the best football venues in the world, but its location contributes to early fan flight once the game is decided. The good outweighs the bad.

Normally I'm a part of the mind your own business crowd but I actually agree with this today.

Last night was ridiculous. If MSU scores there, LSU is only up by 6. As a matter of fact, while the lines are formed in the aisles, MSU is steadily driving up the field and I was getting deja vu all over again.

But I will say this. Anybody bitching in this thread who wasn't out there and watched on tv, need to STFU. People were practically giving tickets away 3 hours before kickoff.

I think during the Florida game, CBS mentioned that the Florida administration had requested that they not show the coaches box during the telecast.

Maybe LSU can request the same of the LSU fans during fourth quarters. Or instead they can do like Iran does during the World Cup. Instead of showing woman in the crowd scantily crowd during the summer months, they edit in clips of people wearing winter clothes. LSU could have CBS/ESPN insert clips of the crowd from the Bama game.

I do find it ironic that the week after everyone praises TS as being the greatest atmosphere in sports, the stadium was two-thirds full during a yet-decided SEC contest.

With all the money people spend these days to get lsu tickets, travel, tailgating etc, why would you leave early? It's not a rent a win team. Why even spend the money to go in the first place?

Because LSU fans are more interested in the foreplay than the intercourse.

I agree though. In addition to the tickets, if I'm gonna go through the trouble of getting out there, paying to park, the traffic after the game, etc. - I'm gonna get the most out of it.

Why even go to the games then?!!!! I get that you have young tired kids, I have two young boys that would be tired and cranky too in those circumstances but it sounds like you planned poorly. Here's a suggestion: give your tickets to fans that care more about the game than all the other stuff, you can go to all the parades and parties and tailgates you want and our team will be supported by real fans when they need it.

The tickets are his and he can do whatever the hell he wants with them. He doesn't owe you or anybody anything. He brought his family dude. You need a reality check.

Probably scared from the complete traffic gridlock the week before. We sat for an hour just trying to get out of the parking lot.

Police do a poor job of running traffic out of campus. It takes forever to get out of there and home. That's why people leave early.

They used to really clear it out fast. I don't know what's changed, but they need to look into it and fix it or this will become the norm unless it's a major game and close to the end.

How can you criticise fans who left the game early and you never left your couch?

I am not going to condem anyone for leavign early that has what they feel is a legitimate reason, but as they panned the stadium with the camera it sure made me sick to my stomach to see that.

Some had excuses but I can guaran-damn-tee you 90% of you assholes that left early don't. Truly pathetic. Very very sad

Says the guy parked in his Lazy-Boy recliner watching on TV. You appear to be local, and people were literally giving tickets away, so why weren't you at the game? I ate 2 of mine because my kids had tickets and no one wanted my extras. I really detest anyone that wasn't out there dealing with traffic, the elements and broken escalators in the stadium trying to call-out someone that made the effort to go through all those things.

I spent the entire day out there and didn't leave until the end. And it was pretty lonely in that upper deck by then.

Says the guy at home watching the TV to the guy that have been to, and will go to, every game this year!!

I assure you my "$upport" of the tigers does more for the program than you yelling at your TV!

Anyone not there has no reason to bitch.
You should been there and bought my extra ticket.
But no I couldn't sell it for 10 bucks.

So guess what, I left at half time.. then went back with the other ticket.. Just so I could leave early and get there late for the same game.

This. Sorry but after Bama game 2 hours to get from Lot D to the Interstate is stupid.

The ones around me who left early had young children with them or were afraid to sit in traffic after the game. Still had a bad taste in their mouth from last week's traffic. One guy around us said that he didn't get home till 1:30 am and lives 3 miles from stadium. I stayed.

Why the heck were they leaving so early? I was very surprised to see that during a close SEC night game.

Been sitting in the SEZ since the 80's... haven't missed many games since then. Last night I wasn't feeling well so I gave my granddaughter my ticket and sat in the parking lot to listen on the radio. I was amazed that I saw people getting in their cars and leaving AT HALFTIME!!
