Final stats on Mason:

68 carries
1327 yards
19.5 yds/carry
23 TDs
Over 125 tackles (we couldn't keep up with the count after game 5
1 reception for 8 yards
4 fumble recoveries
1 interception
11 sacks

Plays in Leander, TX. Played the last two games with a broken nose. Thoughts?

Thoughts?

Kids mature at incredibly different rates. The stats of a 7 year mean nothing as a future predictor of talent.

My thoughts:

You should worry about his development as an athlete and not any statistics as a sever year-old.

There's no reason to have a seven year old playing with a broken nose either.

No fricking way. That's hilarious. The op shattered dreams riding on a 7 year old is best thing I've read in awhile. Mason will turn out a loser like his whole family

Wow. Cant even be proud of my brother and his success in something he loves to do. Frick all of you. 50,000 posts, most of you, and you pick on people you don't even know. Your lives must all be raging success stories.

Those stats tell me he's probably the biggest kid out there dominating inferior talent league-wide .. I have a sneaking suspicion he wouldn't do 1/5th the numbers in an inner city league ..

I wish I did. I live in Missouri so I can't film him. His mom refuses to. Today was his last game this year, and he had 198 yds and four TDs. Also made game winning sack.

As long as he's having fun...that's all that matters at that age.
