Flipped my car while it was raining. I hydroplaned and rolled it 4 times. Walked away without a scratch then shock set in and I blacked out.

Someone not paying attention and slamming into my vehicle from behind is always one of my biggest worries when I have to make a quick stop on the highway. Esp in this age of electronic devices, as if people needed additional distractions while driving 70-80+mph.
Whenever I see I have to stop quickly, I always check the rearview to see if the car behind me is going to be able to stop. I have hit the median a cpl times to avoid being rear ended on I565 in Huntsville during morning rush hour.

I broke my neck last year trying to drive into town from our ranch to get more beer. Was on a private gravel road when I wrecked thank god or I would have been in a world of shite. Got lifeflighted to San Antonio and they had to wait 2 days to do surgery bc I had a .34 BAC. Don't drink and drive and always wear your seatbelt
ETA: I flipped and flew out my passenger side window

Yes, my buddy t-boned an Xtera once, I watched it flip 3 times. As far as I know I walked away without a scratch, but who knows I could have died and not know it.

Fell asleep driving home(about two minutes from the house). Lacerated spleen, lost four centimeters of bone in my leg(broken femur, through the skin),chin cut open, concussion. 4 days in ICU,7 more days in orthopedic wing. 6 surgeries and two rods in my femur, year and a half of physical therapy. None weight bearing for about 6 months. That was the month after I graduated high school and I'll be 27 Friday. Even though Ive forgot many times,Ive been very lucky.

My wreck happened around Midnight. The drunk had no lights on, car was black, and the road we turned in front of him on was very dark. I know this sounds crazy but at impact I thought a train hit us. The girl driving freaked and we were about to hit 2 cars head on but my friend grabbed the wheel saving us. A trooper was on scene a minute after the wreck and said ge had never seen a car with that much intrusion in the rear not catch fire.
The guy who hit us stopped at a bar a mile down the road. Bartender called Troop A while we were there to report a guy who had just been in a hit and run.

I have heard of freak accidents where being ejected has worked out for the better, but that is not the norm. My buddy wearing his seatbelt walked away from the wreck, I spent 2 weeks in the hospital. Car wrecks scare the absolute shite out of me now.

Small plane crash that killed two people. Several car wrecks, no serious injuries in them.

Yep. Got t boned when I was 16. My fault. Guy was doing about 65 and hit my driver's side. It was a miracle TBH

Ran off the road and nearly into the Ouachita River. A tree stopped me. I didn't have a scratch, wasn't even sore the next day. Everything seemed to go in slow motion, and I remember thinking, "this is a really stupid way to die." But I didn't.

It's pretty common. I personally knew about 6 people who have died in plane crashes and double that who have survived one. I've been in two of them.
