Looking for a good NOLA eatery, for Thursday night

Will be in town Thursday evening and looking for recommendations for NOLA eatery. I've done, Johns Steakhouse, Dickie Brennans, Palace, and the like. Looking more for a neighborhood eatery, casual type with excellent food.
Please let me know if reservations are required, too.
