Positive Things to take from the game...

Mettenburger played amazing. If not for a few drops he would have thrown for well over 300 yards. He definitely showed up to play & lived up to the "Mettsiah" preseason hype when it mattered. It's sad to say that he was so close to being the "savior" of this team.
Its clear Hill & Ware are the premiere rushers of this team now. These guys are beasts & made clutch plays down the stretch.
The oline played lights out. Aside from a few mishaps they dominated the run game & gave Mett plenty of time in the pocket.
With all that said, I think it's clear that this team finally has a legit Qb & a balanced offensive identity. Yes this loss was very disappointing, however nothing good will come from dwelling on It. The only thing left to do now is to continue to support this team as they finish strong & to look forward to the race for the national title next season. :geaux tigers:
