Im thinking about looking for a new ride to just drive out to the camp or around the farm...
Im thinking either an older jeep or bronco. I have also seen some people that have the little zuzuki sidekicks rigged out..I also like the idea of an older little truck like a tacoma for the bed...
What would you guys do ?

I had a Ram until a few years ago I used just for hunting.
Wife made me get rid of it.

I have a 2002 Dodge diesel 4x4 that I use for pulling, hunting, whatever. Got a 1/2 ton with V6 for going to work.
Nice to have a extra truck for hunting that way guns and gear can stay in it. Don't have to clean out to go to work.

I just use a big nasty 4x4 for my daily driver.
Do not recommend.

I got a 96 jeep Cherokee we haul the kayaks around on. Laid the back seat down and built a couple little racks to hold paddles, fishing poles and life jackets.

I'm about to do the same. My diesel doesn't get driven enough. And now that I don't drive 1 hour to work don't need a small truck.

Whenever I do get my truck, my 2006 Wrangler would be that guy.
The only thing you gotta keep in mind is that the room in those vehicles can be limiting if you carry a lot of gear or people. It's perfect for leaving at the camp though.
For me, since I don't have a camp and need to drive a good ways to get to my hunting areas, a truck would be better suited. Especially if you have a dog.

Also have taken into consideration availability of parts for older vehicles

Nice,
The Mrs drives a 2001 suburban 4x4, when she needs a new car I want to put a leveling kit and winch bumper, will be a great hunting ride.

That's what I did. When the wife got a new ride, I took her tahoe and rednecked it up real good. After 3 years, I still can't get the "girlie" scent out of it. Wonder if Ozonics would work?
