I know it's been discussed, but seriously,
What happens if LSU wins out and Oregon, Kansas State, Notre Dame are undefeated?

Then LSU will most likely be on the outside looking in.

It also probably hurt LSU that Florida lost yesterday.

The computers aren't showing Oregon much love.

Notre Dame and K-State would likely stay ahead of us, though.

Eta: which is a joke, because Oregon is way better than both of those teams.

Didn't matter in the scenario above. Sugar Bowl either way.

It's only a joke because you are ill-informed on the matter. Oregon hasn't played the meat of their schedule yet. They will have a good computer score when they play USC, Oregon St, Stanford, and PAC championship game.

Is there a scenario in which only 2 teams are undefeated (ex Oregon and K State) and we jump one if them to get in?

First LSU would have to beat Bama. Unlikely. No way LSU goes to the ship with 3 other unbeaten teams. ND if undefeated will be enshrined at the best team in the history of the universe. You could have Oregon, ND, and K state undefeated at the end of the season and someone gets hosed. Barring a miracle LSU will play in a lesser bowl.

If I were to guess, we would jump Oregon, seeing as how they are ranked after KSU and ND. But then again, I honestly have no idea.

I figured that had something to do with it. I knew the meat of their schedule was toward the end. I didn't realize that opponent's records can only help you after you play them, though.

IF is a big word. No way this will happen. If LSU wins out, I'll be in Miami...

LSU will not be in the ship if they win out as well as ND, kstate, and OR. I have a feeling ND will slip as well as Kstate. Just a feeling. OR will win out however.

Agreed, I don't see anyone in the Pac-12 beating Oregon. But then again, anything is possible.

To really blow your mind- what happens if Bama, notre dame, k state, and Oregon all win out?

All unbeaten at end of season.

Bama would be in. How do you choose the other team?

LSU win out and they are in.....no question.....stop worrying about it. There is no way the SEC champion even with one loss will not be in the BCSNCG......
