Can the other team ever just be better that day?

Yes, and the wins are never his fault. Understand?

I'm pretty sure he had something to do with LSU losses under Saban as well.

Barack Obama will follow Miles as head coach and all loses for twenty years will be attributable to Miles.

They're his fault if we lose due to his coaching.

13 PENALTIES?

THIS IS AN UNDISCIPLINED TEAM THAT WILL GET ITS BUTT WAXED BY BAMA IF SOMETHING SIGNIFICANT ISN'T DONE ABOUT THE PENALTIES.

ONLY THE COACH CAN FIX THIS.

There are obviously issues on the Offensive staff. Strad has playing calling issues. Most people recognized in the 1st qtr that we could run around the ends. No multiple WR sets on the 4th qtr. We set up for a field goal with 3 plays to the right from 40 yards away. Miles may have the attitude to let the coaches coach the game and he only steps in when a decision has to be made. I would like to see an OC like A&Ms. With talent and execution, it looked like they could have scored on every play.

execution is a huge problem for LSU

Play calling is hard to assess, but at least they need to run the play (offense and defense) the call without penalties - illegal formation, motion, off-sides, substitution penalties, delay of game...this is completely LSU's fault. A&M doesn't cause LSU to have an illegal formation.

And when LSU wins it is because the players overcame his coaching, right?
Come on man at least try to be a little original.

I am not at practice, so I can't assess what Miles should do to address the penalty problem.

But 13 penalties is not normal. That is BAD football. Some of that is the players, but at some point, the coach must take responsibility. If a guy is offsides on every play, you put his arse on the bench for a while - a long while. Even if he is the best tackler on the team.

As long as a head coach gets credit for a win, he will own credit for the loss.

Yes, he recruits them and coaches them. He is paid a lot of money to do so. Adjacently he should also get credit for the victories. I don't expect him to never lose, but when he does, it is his fault. I am in a leadership role in my profession, when shite goes wrong I am held accountable.

Please. LSU most penalized team in 03.

False Start

Illegal foward pass
Substitution
Illegal fair catch

Personal foul #1
PI

7 on the defense. Should we fire chavis too. His d is undisciplined and even more so than the o.

Other than the substitution, what are the coaches to do when players make bone headed mistakes like eric reid did? Yall cant put the blame on the coaches. False starts happen when you have freshman playing away in the sec. it happens.
