this isn't really pop, at all

I would like that

I can appreciate rap, I think there are some talented people in it, but it's sad that rap threads get so much attention while a Jack White or Gary Clark Jr. would get maybe 2 pages.

that's because they are not even close to the level of ABB, RS, LZ, etc. Lamar is at least close to the best of all time.

I prefer southern rock and outlaw country, as well as some classic rock to anything, but rock/country today doesn't even compare to this, Kanye, etc. that's why this thread is so long

ETA: I even like Kanye West better than Kendick Lamar and I know that statement is ridiculous. "Cruel Summer" has max 5 noteworthy songs on it. GKMC is an instant classic.

I've been traveling the past 2 days and so I've listened to the Kendric album a few times now and I'm already tired of it, I am disappoint . It's a cool album but I'm over it. I don't get the hype.

Meanwhile I have heard the dreams song "higher" on cruel summer a million times and it never gets old

I do love , bitch don't kill my vibe

Sadly, KL will probably never be a household name. I'm very surprised at the mainstream success he is having right now, but he will never be as big as he should be (for how talented he is).

Late to this thread, but I just bought Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City this weekend.

All I can say is, holy shite.

This guy is legit. The whole album, from beginning to end, is solid.
