CFN predicting ASU wins: Arizona State 37 … Oregon 35

The Sun Devils are no fluke, no product of a soft first-half schedule. This team is for real, and it’ll use a primetime audience to make its case. ASU is one of a handful of defenses in the country playing with enough speed and suddenness to keep the Ducks from scoring in waves and from any point on the field. It closes in a hurry, gang tackles and operates with constant energy. Sutton, in particular, will shed what’s left of his anonymity, making a case to be included in All-American discussions.

Sun Devil players and fans reallllly want this one. They are actually close to selling out for once as well. Should be a fun atmosphere but we should be able to make plays. ASU's D has been solid but has no depth so I expect a 2nd half outburst of points.

I would be surprised if Oregon lost, but they are famous for playing down one or two games a year, the cal game last year springs to mind for one

@ ASU, Thursday night...and the Sun Devils are criminally underrated at #24 in the polls. Top 10 defense I believe and above-average scoring offense.

Sun Devils are going to be up big for the first half. Second half the Ducks will distance themselves.

54 28 Ducks. I am calling a safety for the Ducks

Not that his opinion matters much, but Todd McShay also picked this game as his "upset alert" game.

Oregon whipped dat arse 43-15. You must mean in 2010 and I'd attribute that game to really good defense by Cal moreso than Oregon playing down. I mean Oregon did hold onto the ball the last 9 minutes of the game and could have scored but just let the clock run out. Cal played a very good defensive game and had the D line it takes to do what they did. ASU doesn't have that.

And famous? I guess there aren't any teams that have a bad game here and there huh? Oregon does better than most by winning the games they're supposed to. Chip Kelly has 2 conference losses in his career. They also have the FBS longest road winning streak.

The first half will give everyone hope that Oregon might lose but I don't see it. Can't say never though.

All knowing Todd McShay

I don't think asu has what it takes. Maybe if Mariota, Barner and DAT all get kidnapped by asu fans
