Crossbow Recommendations

New to this whole archery thing. Would possibly use for hunting deer. I don't want to spend a fortune so what's some good brands that aren't too expensive?

I just bought a Barnett Jackle and love it so far. One trip out so far and one kill. Bow is quiet and pretty quick.

Get a Mathews but shoot several diff. ones to see which one you like better.

I hated those frickers until the reality of my second shoulder reconstruction set in. I have to get a permit though.

My question is recurve or compound or is it much different.
