Found info about LA Seafood Festival this weekend in New Orleans

For some unknown reason, they really haven't advertised the seafood fest much in the NO area. Might have been a bad idea scheduling it on same weekend as the blues/bbq fest, given the inordinate amount of publicity it has generated (probably due to the fact that it is sponsored by the NO Jazz & Heritage Fest).

Both fests run through Sunday. La Seafood is on the riverfront by the aquarium. Blues/bbq is by the federal courthouse (Lafayette Square). You can easily walk from one to the other, or take a streetcar. There's tvs set up at both, so you can keep up with football games throughout the weekend. Get on out - its great weather, no admission charge, and the food is reasonably priced (plus, the musical acts are off the chart).

They've been advertising like crazy on WWNO, or rather underwriting.
