Temporary bye week trade

Guy in our league has a shite load of players on bye week 7. He wants to give me Jamaal Charles for Trent Richardson for the next 2 weeks then trade back. I of course denied this because Trent is playing the next 2 weeks and Jamaal is on bye week 7. So he now says he'll throw in Witten for good if I will do the 2 week deal. It is a no brainer now because I currently have Gresham at TE and can plug in Spiller at RB week 7.
The guy has Chandler at TE. Can I expect some bitching about this from the other league members?
What are y'lls stances on temporary trades such as this?

You can expect some bitching. Also, you don't want to risk it going through the first time then getting rejected by the rest of the league the second time.

I think the whole concept of a temporary trade is bs. If I were in the league I would certainly vote against it.
