That's not the reason he's my least favorite. It's one of many examples. I don't have time to sit here and defend my opinions because if I listed them all, I think this board would implode and I'd be forced to sit on my computer defending myself for hours while I'm trying to work.

What is the level of expenditures on that? What is the RIGHT level? Are there other sources for funding (Fed, etc) that make up the cut from the state budget?

dont start with that surplus shite..if take one time money every year for the last 3 years to balance your budget you dont have a surplus..bobby is a joke and it will take 4-5 years after he is done for everyone to see it. $130 million surplus is because of the $180 million he took in one time funds this year to balance the budget. and dont ask me for a link use your google function or go to www.forgoston.com

Correct me if I'm wrong, because I haven't lived here all my life...but doesn't Louisiana have a balanced budget amendment in place? So why does Bobby Jindal get any credit for that.

Mea culpa,he won't have to resign or leave the state. But a follow up article in the Times Picayune commented that he will be out of state even more than he is now,as he will be networking with fellow Rep.governors around the country. As for the comment that only a few dislike him, above & beyond teachers, you need to get out more, as dislike for him is widespread. A small sign of that are the polls that show his popularity dropping significantly in recent mths. Again, if he has nothing to hide, let him hold a Q&A press conference with the local media, something he has not done in over a yr & a half now. All we get are his press releases.
