They're both absolutely better pass rushers. And although Jordan is supposed to be this great run stuffer the Saints are somehow last in the league against the run. Of course it's not all Jordan's fault but he's part of it.

Wilson and Galette definitely got the job done in the 2nd half.

Absolutely, there seemed to be more pressure applied when they were in.

They won't hold up against the run. Not like the rest of them are doing great.

When Wilson and galette are in, so is Jordan and smith. They just move inside. Spags calls it NASCAR.

Cam Jordan has the most run stops of any defensive lineman in the league outside of JJ Watt

He's very good in run downs. He's not a good pass rusher, though.

Most of the big runs and dump off passes are going to the left side, Smith's side. He and whichever OLB we have on that side aren't getting it done.

I think it's mostly the linebackers. It's often that an end, this year, penetrates and stretches out a run..and then the guy just turns out field and outruns him because the linebackers aren't there to make the tackle like they need to be.

They at least exhibit a different skill set and sense of want (e.g. dipping the shoulder, spin move, ect) than the rest of our line which seems content on running straight forward into who is in front of them

I came at Jordan last week about his lack of a big play since he has been a Saint and got the same response about being run stuffer not a pass rusher....

And we spent a 1st round pick on a run stuffer.....

I agree but you will get crucified for this from Joe Saint fan.

And Ingram is getting close to a bust title. Only thing saving him is SP coming back next year.

Will Smith has been a great Saint, but it's time for him to retire gracefully
