The problem is players not executing the plays at crucial times in the game or on critical third downs...it's as simple as that.

This has been going on since he's been here. Hell, even with 2 NFL first round recievers and the No.1 pick at QB it looked like this. So here is the deal.

Either he recruits crappy offensive players

He or his staff can't coach offensive players to execute

His scheme sucks sasquatch testicles.

I think its the last two. And for those pumping the PPG numbers, they are padded with wins over cupcakes and last year the defense scored quite a bit. In previous posts long ago, I've always said, he consistently puts the team in third and long situations by insisting on running up the middle and then throwing well short of the chains on third downs or running up the middle again. Not everyone is asking for an Oregon type offense, but Les' offenses always look like crap. They are not crisp, in fact they look like they never even practiced together before.

That play sheet somebody made a few years ago showing a playstation control with Les Mile's playbook..It's still relevant today. Who's got it? When even former offensive players are calling you out on it, it's TRUF!

This is bigger than the players not executing.

The scheme does not seem to work. How often do we have wide receivers open, how often do we fool people with creativity.

We try to run the same plays and bludgeon people. That works against most teams, but does not work against teams with near equal depth and talent.

The rest of the SEC has the blueprint to stopping LSU on offense and Les is too stubborn to adjust. It's as simple as that

The big question was, "will LSU play sloppy in the Swamp." Well that question was answered.

The comment by Miles before the game was "I think there's an understanding we need to play better such as fewer fumbles, passing game/drop passes, etc;

Well we know the answer to that statement 5 games in a row now. So what's next? Yes, Miles is to blame but yet he wants the kids to watch video and see their mistakes they made. Hell he may need to watch is own self on video and see how out coached he's been most of the season minus the Washington game.

Many skirting around the issue but OP gets it right. It's Miles offense PERIOD. Offensive coordinator is a yes man it's Miles 100%.

Yet it's horrible. He's terrible at calling offense and awesome at nearly everything else. Give it up man. Do what's best for the team and the school.

LSU has been really bad for a long time, so I'm not sure what this proves other than that the offense under Miles is better than "bad".

Also, points per game is a pretty specious statistic to use when measuring offense since it's influenced greatly by special teams and defensive play.

There is no game plan. There is no plan to run plays to set up other plays. There is no plan that gets the defense thinking or guessing one thing and seeing something else or getting the defense going one direction and the offense going the other.

This team just runs random plays. Oh and the pitch back to the tailback is the worst play in college football and it fools no one.

I didn't know that, but even if true that will not matter to some who post on the Rant. We loss to a Top 5 team on the road and someone has to be thrown under the bus. Thats just the way they are...they never tire of eating our own.

But the OP is correct bout one thing...Miles controls the O. Of course, he controls the D as well and the ST and every other aspect of LSU football.

So, when LSU fails, I blames LM too.

Lucky thing for all LSU fans is that LM is failing less than any other HC LSU EVER had walking the sidelines at TS!
