When I first started following European football, Hull City were up and Jimmy Bullard was EPL player of the month. Also, with Hull being the Tigers, I figured, "WTF?" I'll make Hull one of the teams I follow (I was already following City because I liked the way Tevez played).
Well, Bullard gets injured, Hull gets relegated. Bullard goes nuts (apparently, this was normal for him), falls out of favor, etc. etc.
Well, haven't heard from shite from Hull or Bullard since then (2009?)

Well Phil Brown gave Bullard extremely high wages, without recognizing his penchant for lengthy injury spells. Although my friend did once take a picture with him drinking a Sol Cerveza in the Sugar Mill club in Hull.

Nobody remembers his time at Fulham? He had a horrible injury and was out almost two years. The season Dempsey broke through under Sanchez/Hodgson Bullard came back just in time to hit a sweet free kick and help them do the great escape.
Apparently he was on huge wages though which is why Roy shipped him out to Hull, who gave him a ridiculous contract. I never really cared for him as a player, he lost the ball way too often, but he was quite a character. He gave Chris Baird a black eye in practice once
