I randomly thought about him today, and looked up some of his highlights on YouTube. He was one of my favorite college football players growing up. Anybody know what he is up to today?

Didn't Oklahoma have him and Peterson at the same
time. I could be wrong.

No, Griffin was gone a year before Peterson came to Oklahoma.

All I can find is in '08 he quit on a CFL team during a game because he didn't want to get hurt.

Yeah, he was like 5'5" but very effective. Those early Oklahoma teams were actually built like SEC teams relying on great defense to win. Once they started going away from that and shifted more towards offense, they started to drop off and struggle in big games.

He was a great RB for the spread type offense. Quick as shite and decisive, great hands out of the backfield. I always thought he had a decent future as a 3rd down RB in the NFL.

Yeah I remember that game. All 6 were from within 5 yards IIRC.
