spartacus war of the damned is gonna come out in january and I guess finish off the story of the 3rd servile war.
so those who have watched the other 3 spartacus seasons, who do you believe would win in the arena?
I believe crixus would win. he bested spartacus in most of their skirmishes and seemed to be the one most dedicated to life in the arena.

And Gannicus owned Crixus.
I think Gannicus would win

Jupiter's Cock! That Is a tough question.
Gotta go with old Spartacus, new Spartacus would die first.

Gannicus for sure.
Crixus would have had a shot, but you have to remember he has been seriously wounded at least twice... that's gonna affect him a bit in the ring.
Spartacus has also been injured and would not be 100% That, and this new actor just doesn't seem like he would be able to hold his own...

I was assuming we are talking about all 3 at their peak. In which I would say Gannicus

its ashamed that the original spartacus died. the new one looks too much like asher.
talking about actors fitting roles, I cant imagine anyone playing batiatus better than the guy that played that role. he was awesome.

Ah.
I will still stick with Gannicus- unstoppable with the dual swords.

In all fairness, Spartacus fought in the same style.

You're right.
The way the show went, it just seemed (to me) that both Gannicus and Oenomaus (sp?) were on another level than the other gladiators.
Gannicus and Oenomaus were pretty much equals, and in S1, Spartacus and Crixus were perceived as equals. I still think Old school > New school.
My opinion might have been swayed had Andy still been playing Spartacus after S1, but this new guy just isn't cutting it.

not really how it was portrayed. aenimaeus was first, and he was injured or something and then gannicus took over and aenimaeus was made doctori. right around that time crixus came into the picture and became the champ. then spartacus came in after crixus was injured and became champ. they had the battle at the end but crixus realized batiatus had poisoned him during the fight and gave into spartacus calls to overtake the house. so while they had battles, none ever becme champ by defeating the other.

The only reason Crixus became the "champ" Is because Batiatus was pretty much forced to grant Gannicus his freedom. Gannicus beat Crixus in that free for all by forcing him out of the ring. Than Gannicus was granted his freedom and they decided to portray Crixus as the "champion".
Crixus was also young and probably not at his peak yet though
