How do y'all see the Hornets big man rotation looking?

Lopez starts at C with Davis at PF obviously. What after that?
Will Davis play some C? How much does Smith factor in? Will Anderson rotate at all three positions?

I think how effective Davis and Anderson can be playing the 3/4 will determine whether Lopez starts or gets more than 15 minutes per game. Whether he starts or not I expect Anderson to get 30+ mpg and the same goes for AD which means either RA and AD are getting minutes at the 3 or Lopez is sitting on the bench most of the game. And that's not even putting Jason Smith into the conversation.
It's actually a good problem too have, too many PF/Cs deserving of minutes. I don't think even Monty has a clue how the minutes will be divided other than Anderson and Davis will probably get the most.

I pretty much agree with that. I think Smith and Lopez will probably share an equal number of minutes with Smith maybe getting more since he is backing up the 4 and the 5. Anderson will share duties at the 3/4. Lopez getting limited minutes only at C unless he improves a lot.

There is no doubt that this will have to happen at times. It'll be more about defensive matchups rather than an actual label though.

I don't know if I'd say that we have too many Cs. We definitely have plenty of PFs and hopefully some can play C well but Lopez is our only pure center. I'm sure AD, Anderson, and Smiht will do well with it when we need them to play there but our lack of any experience at that position outside of Lopez is something we're going to have to figure out this year.

That's all you need these days. 2 years ago many fans thought undersized Okafor was an All Star snub because of how well he anchored the defense before his abdominal injury, then Bynum made the All Star snub look like a little girl during the playoffs. An undersized center like Davis will be enough to anchor the defense most nights.

Some of the best "centers" in the league right now are in the 6'10" range. I agree that Davis can put up quality minutes there. Same with Anderson, Smith.

I've never really thought that Okafor was undersized, he just can't shoot (score) and he is not the ahtlete he used to be. Sure, height is kind of important, but Okafor has bulk (250+) which is more critical to playing the post.

AD is going to be a great Center. He is a highly skilled 7 footer that just needs weight/strength. Picking up Anderson just makes the team have to hurry the transition.
I think when it's all said and done, when we begin the season AD and Anderson will start, Smith and Thomas will be the primary back-ups, with Lopez getting maybe 8-10 minutes a game. Espn put up the projected depth charts.. LINK

Lopez will start and when he comes out Smith. Anderson will see a bunch of time as well. Should be a solid frontcourt.
