Is the entire NFL season tainted by Goodell?

If the Saints don't finish the season strong I think the whole season is tainted because Goodell suspended Payton without just cause. He has tampered with the integrity of the league. Could this be just cause for the owners to oust goodell at some point? Yeah I know, not gonna happen. But it should.

well the Saints ain't choir boys in all of this so no
Saints tainted it themselves by not stopping it when they could have, lying in the initial phase and all the other bs that flew with this
so I know the butthurt is strong with many but yo make your bed you have to sleep in it and while the "aftermath" may have been over the top they did this to themselves

I think it taints every team's season. At least the ones that make the playoffs. If you take one of the best teams out of contention for no good reason and it clears the road for other teams it would amount to tampering by goodell.

The Saints maintain they were truthful from the very beginning. After all of goodell's proof ended up not being anything close to proof, then who's to say goodell was right about the saints lying to begin with.

no they don't. The coaches/front office did not dispute their role in the deal, whatever it may be or was
I am not talking about the players. The Saints have never disputed that they were told to stop in 09 and didn't. Nor have they disputed that Coach Payton initially denied the entire thing.
I am not trying to get that bs started again but answering the question truthfully from my POV.
We can all argue or agree on Goodell's handling and the aftermath but the reason this team is blowing right now is cause of the lack of the HC's fire and IMO you cannot blame Goodell for that.

No because other teams could give two shits if the Saints make the playoffs or not, there are 31 other teams out there just as capable. That's why only through the eyes of a Saints fan would the season be tainted.
Also according to you if the Saints make the playoffs then the season isn't tainted making this whole "tainted" theory invalid. I don't care what team you are, no team has a 100% chance to go into the playoffs based off last season.

The point is if bogus suspensions clear the way for another team to win, the season is tainted for that team. Whether or not they give 2 shits is irrelevant.

The first 2 weeks have been tainted by poor play, that's about it.
