I think Miles was holding him back to make sure he was 100% for the Auburn game.

He is hungry and is ready to knock some SEC heads.

He'll hold Blue back even if he's OK to make sure he's solid for the stretch run later.

We may see a whole bunch of Jeremy Hill v. Towson in two weeks to give all the main guys a break before the monster part of our schedule starts at Gainesville in 3 weeks.

I understand Ware isnt going to break the big runs like Blue, Ford and Hilliard. But the dude is a wrecking ball. I love the way he runs, and he has the power to demoralize defenses.
But his biggest contribution is pass protection, and it looks like we need that right now, so he needs to get some reps....

4 brilliant RBs mean we don't need to run guys when they are hurt. As soon as Ware's leg(thigh) bruise is healed up he will get the carries.

For what LSU wants to do, Ware is the best back on the team.

On that long TD run, Ware would have been on the ground where Hilliard broke the tackle.

Doesn't matter to me who totes the rock.. long as we rack up some serious total rushing yards.

I doubt hill gets a meaningful carry in the SEC opener

Blue will rest for two games and his carries will go to Ford. May see a bunch of Ford Magee and Hill at Townson after Hilliard gets his 12.

People forget that Miles ran Ware on an average of 20 times a game for the first eight games he played last year.

I actually think this is true too. Last year's Auburn game is where Ware was suspended and then he never seemed the same afterwards. He's still our best blocking back and has the best hands as a pressure valve receiver.

I think Spencer Ware has had this game circled for the whole offseason. Now whether Les has the same thoughts or not I have NO idea.

Hilliard has something to say about that

No meaning Ford will be getting those stretch type plays and more passes out the backfield like Blue is accustomed to.

Hilliard will definitely be the #1 for now.
