My sunday football meal. Jumbo(size-U/10's & butterflied) shrimp poboy dressed on toasted french bread with a little bit of bacon(to make it even healthier) and topped off with a butter garlic herb sauce. Shrimp were sauteed in a little bit of extra virgin olive oil.

Hard to tell from the picture but the size of the poboy was about 10 inches. Poboy was good but the Saints game not so much.

That looks mighty tasty. I've been making one with sauteed shrimp, bacon, slices of avocado, arugula and mayo mixed with Butcher's sweet potato habanero sauce. It's darn good.

Shrimp and bacon are okay and one of the exceptions to my seafood and meat dislike. Oyster and bacon are okay, as well.

Sounds good.

I've never really used bacon much with seafood before but I had some left over bacon from something else I cook so I decided to throw it on my poboy. Was a nice combination in my opinion.

It is. I like the crunch with the shrimp texture, surprisingly. I like shrimp wrapped in bacon IF the bacon gets cooked.

I posted a pic of that sandwich here when I first made it. I've made it quite a few times since. It's not far off from yours and I really liked it. My guests did as well.

Looks great!

I've loved the bacon & seafood combo since the first time I had a house salad at Riverside Inn many moons ago. Shrimp, crawfish, lump crab meat, bacon and salad stuff. Really good.

Used to be the same with me too but I am on a strict diet lately. Trying to get slim and trim again.

Yep, I agree. I've had shrimp wrapped in half cooked bacon before. Not so good that way.

Yep, my guests liked mine too. I'll have to look up that sandwich pic of yours.
