should non-offensive touchdowns be reflected in scoring defense averages

started thinking about that last night. lsu has given up 31 pts but has scored 18 non offensive pts. do you think it should be averaged into total scoring defense? i know it's different and will never happen but what the hell, why not see what the rant thinks.

I agree that a scoring defense should be net of defensive scores subtracted from offensive scores. I would not include special teams, however.
