Stop making these threads and the rebellious children will stop doing the opposite of what you want and stay.

BTW: I like the Booze Idea as long as it's not Saints prices.

Personally, I'd feel more inclined to stay if we continued to run an offense. When we power formation in the third and run between the tackles everydown I get a little bored. Run our offense for the full game and I'd be interested in watching. Novel idea and just maybe would go a long way when we play quality opponents that we can't just run down their throats.

Fix the traffic.

If you have ever been to Gainsville, Athens, Auburn or Tuscalooserville you would never complain about the traffic after LSU games again. It took me 4 hours ( 6 miles) to get from where I tailgated last year on Nov. 5 to the interstate and another 45 minutes from the interstate to Birmingham. All 4 towns do not have adequate hotel lodging, requiring traveling fans to stay 45 minutes to an hour from the campuses. The BR police and LSU police do a great job of getting people off of campus in a timely manner.

There are some useful ideas here so far, some not so useful.

I think it's a given that LSU will play some less-than-stellar teams at home.

Given that fact, what incentive could LSU provide IN ADDITION TO THE GAME to get people to stay?

No one cares that you "get a little board."

I said this in another thread before I noticed this thread, allow beer to be sold and allow an area inside the stadium where you can smoke a quick cigarette. Maybe at the highest point around the upper deck where the smoke won't bother non smokers. As a smoker, I am not willing to sit for five hours in the stands without a cigarette, thus I watch at home where I can smoke on the patio while watching the game with a cold beer.

Prohibition on alcohol is an SEC rule.

You & I would like it, but it might make some people leave early. Like those with kids.

1 - stop scheduling teams like Idaho and Towson

2 - sell booze - honestly this is why most leave other than beating the traffic excuse. They want to get back to partying.

5. sell booze

6. who gives a shite when they leave, the school is really only worried about them showing up.

Who cares when they leave? As an alum, I care. Every LSU game is televised, just about, to a national audience. They see the empty stands. Bad reflection on LSU.

Correct answer, but that's an NCAA rule.
